Stincy Mary Joseph

Stincy is a Senior Associate at KBH. Her practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and general corporate advisory matters. She has advised clients across a wide range of sectors, including education, healthcare, financial services, energy, manufacturing and high-end retail.

Stincy has worked on several private equity transactions where she advised clients in the education, healthcare and automobile sector, where she worked on conducting due diligence, drafted, reviewed and negotiated share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements with equity and debt components. She has also advised a Saudi Arabia based district cooling company on a project finance transaction.

Stincy joined KBH Kaanuun in 2013 and was made a Senior Associate in KBH’s corporate team in the year 2016.

Stincy completed her masters in Corporate and Securities Law from Columbia Law School in 2010, where she served on the editorial board of the American Review of International Arbitration. Stincy also worked as a Research Assistant to Professor John Coffee during her term at Columbia Law School.

Prior to joining KBH, she worked with Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, one of India’s leading law firms, where she advised on mergers and acquisitions of private and public listed companies, advised on SEBI takeover code regulations, open offer obligations. As part of her capital markets practice at Amarchand, Stincy advised clients on equity and debt capital market transactions and represented corporations and book running lead managers in proposed initial public offerings, qualified institutional placements, offer for sale and preferential rights allotment. She also represented companies in qualified institutional placements pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S of the U.S. Securities Act. Stincy also worked on the public issue and private placement of secured redeemable non- convertible tax-free long-term infrastructure bonds and private placement of listed & non-listed non-convertible debentures in one of India’s leading Ports.
